Visitation will be held Friday, January 2, 2015, from 5-7pm with Memorial Service immediately following at 7:00 p.m. at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road Indianapolis, IN 46250.

Deborah A Burke Brinkley, 60, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014.

She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Jack Everton Burke and Irma Louise Burke. Debbie was a Loving Wife, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She is survived by her Husband and Best Friend, Jimmy (Jim) Brinkley; her Sister, Kathi Burke Lester; Brother in Law, Tom Lester; Niece, Kendra Renaudo; Kendra’s Husband, Johnny Renaudo; Great Nephew, 5 month old Tatum John Renaudo; and many great Friends. Debbie graduated from Warren Central High School in 1972. Debbie was a huge Fan of the Indianapolis Colts and IU Basketball team. Please dress in your Colts or IU attire in honor of Debbie.brinkley, deborah colts

    I am saddened by the untimely passing of Deb, such a great lady gone too soon. Soft spoken lady who was always willing to help. She will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the entire family.

    There’s nothing I can really say other than I have some great memories of Deb. She was an easy person to be around and a great host at the house for many games I watched with you two. She took a lot of ribbing and occasionally would lob one over the bow herself!! Great memories, Jimmy! That’s what I’ll take with me!! Very sorry, Chris Russell

    Dan and I have enjoyed many fun times with you and Debbie at Chips. Everyone who had the good fortune of knowing Debbie will undoubtedly miss that sweet, extraordinary lady. We can only imagine how hard this has to be for you, but just know that we love you, and we are here for you.

    Deb and I got along so well from the start. I think it was the name, she had a GREAT name we both thought.I am so glad you and Deb are a part of my life. You are both very special. I will always remember her wonderful smile and kind heart. May you hold all your memories close to your heart for comfort when you need it. I am out of town but my thoughts and prayers are with you.
